A Quick Word About Social Networking

by Ryan Hinricher on June 9, 2009

With all the social networks to choose from and keep up  with, what is the strategy your business should take?    Think about all the options available;  Facebook,  Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, Blogger, Orkut, on and on  and on.  So how do you manage this?  Well you don’t.  With the onslaught of social networks you need to figure out what space you need to be in and concentrate there.

Does your Medical Clinic really need a MySpace page?   MySpace is becoming key for the entertainment industry but is not being viewed as place for professionals to network.   How about FaceBook?  Everyone is on Facebook.  Unfortunately it’s where friends go to hang out.  All 200 million of them.

There are many niche social network sites in your industry vertical.  You just have to find them.  Otherwise, why not start your own?
